This information can be shared with your attorney as they draft your bequest provision for the Webb School of Knoxville.

Unrestricted Bequest Language

This option allows your gift to be used wherever it is needed most:

"I hereby give, devise, and bequeath [specific dollar amount, percentage of estate, or description of property] to the Webb School of Knoxville, a nonprofit organization located in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Tax ID #62-0550980, for its general charitable purposes."

Restricted Bequest Language

If you prefer to specify how your gift will be used, you may include:

"I hereby give, devise, and bequeath [specific dollar amount, percentage of estate, or description of property] to the Webb School of Knoxville, a nonprofit organization located in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Tax ID #62-0550980, to be used for the following purpose: [describe purpose]. If at any time in the judgment of the Board of Trustees it is impossible or impracticable to carry out this purpose, the Board shall determine an alternative use that closely aligns with my original intent."

Residual Bequest Language

For leaving the remainder of your estate after other specific bequests have been fulfilled:

"I hereby give, devise, and bequeath all [or a percentage] of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate to the Webb School of Knoxville, a nonprofit organization located in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Tax ID #62-0550980, for its general charitable purposes."

Contingent Bequest Language

If your gift is contingent upon specific circumstances:

"If [primary beneficiary] does not survive me, I hereby give, devise, and bequeath [specific dollar amount, percentage, or residue] to the Webb School of Knoxville, a nonprofit organization located in Knoxville, Tennessee, with Tax ID #62-0550980, for its general charitable purposes."
